E-Agro forges partnership with Tao Seeds

With the shared vision to uplift the quality of life of farmers in Pangasinan, E-Agro Software Development Corporation formally signs partnership agreement with Tao Foods Company, Inc. through its Tao Seeds business unit.

The ceremony was attended by top executives: President of E-Agro, Mr. Jorge Yulo; Vice President and Board of Director for E-Agro, Ms. Esther Flor Baldemor; Chairman of Tao Corporation, Mr. Julio Sy;  President of Tao Foods Company, Inc., Atty. Laura Love Guevara; Business Unit Head for Tao Seeds, Mr. Joseph Fajardo; and Sales & Marketing Manager, Mr. Nelson Paraguison.

Tao Seed’s flagship program, the Rice to Rise or R2R complements the recently launched E-Agro,  an online assistance program that enables farmers to access loans, information on farming, affordable equipment, and low-priced inputs like fertilizers and pesticides.

As its partner company, Tao Seeds will supply quality hybrid rice seeds to E-Agro for distribution and will ensure that continuous technical assistance will be provided to the enrolled farmers. E-Agro, on the other hand, will take the lead in providing easy to use and accessible digital farming platforms to the farmers.
